This policy explains what information OnPoint 4 Gamers (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit onpoint4gamers.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
OnPoint 4 Gamers runs onpoint4gamers.com, an Xbox focused gaming news, reviews and video site. Questions about this policy go through our Contact page at https://onpoint4gamers.com/contact/.
What we collect
- Usage data. Pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your general location (city or country level), device, browser and screen size. This comes from Google Analytics.
- Things you send us. If you use our contact form or leave a comment, we get what you type, the name and email you give us, and your IP address. Comments may be checked for spam.
- Cookies and similar tech, explained below.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Google Analytics (GA4 through Site Kit)
We use Google Analytics 4, set up through the Google Site Kit plugin, to see how many people visit and which stories they read. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and processes data on Google’s servers. IP addresses are not stored by GA4. You can learn how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out with the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We and our partners use them to:
- Keep the site working (for example, remembering your consent choice or comment details).
- Measure traffic (Google Analytics).
- Show and measure ads (see Advertising below).
- Load embedded videos and posts (YouTube, X, Discord).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Visitors in the EU, UK and similar regions will see a consent message and can accept, reject or change their choices at any time through the “Privacy settings” link in the footer.
Advertising
We show, or are getting ready to show, display ads served by Google AdSense and other ad partners. Here is what that means:
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, lets Google and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of some third party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized ads at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- If you do not consent (or opt out), you may still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

Affiliate links
- Amazon Associates. OnPoint 4 Gamers is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate program that lets sites earn fees by linking to Amazon.com. Our Amazon links carry our tag (onpoint4gam0c-20). When you click one, Amazon may set cookies to credit the sale. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Epic Games Support-A-Creator. We may share our creator code ONPOINT4GAMERS. If you enter it in the Epic Games Store, Epic may pay us a share of eligible purchases. We do not get your payment details or purchase history from Epic.
These programs are run by the companies named, under their own privacy policies.
Embedded content
Posts may include embedded YouTube videos, X (Twitter) posts and a Discord widget. Embedded content acts as if you visited that site directly, and those companies may collect data, set cookies and track your interaction. Our YouTube videos load a preview image first and only connect to YouTube when you press play.

Comments and contact form
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept so we can recognize and approve follow up comments. Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need to answer you.
How long we keep data
Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months, the longest retention Google Analytics allows. Comments stay until removed. Contact messages are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights in the EU, UK and EEA (GDPR and UK GDPR)
We rely on your consent for analytics and ad cookies, and on our legitimate interest to run and secure the site. You have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or limit processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Your rights in California (CCPA / CPRA) and other US states
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted ads. We do not sell personal information for money. Ad cookies may count as “sharing” under California law; you can opt out with the “Privacy settings” link in the footer, by using a Global Privacy Control signal, or at https://adssettings.google.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
To make any request, reach us through https://onpoint4gamers.com/contact/. We may need to confirm your request before acting on it.
