How to start playing
- On console: open the Xbox Store, go to the Subscriptions tab and scroll to the Free Play Days collection on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.
- On the web: open each game’s page on Xbox.com and click through to the Microsoft Store. Sign in so you see the install option that matches your Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or Essential membership.
- No Game Pass needed for Anno 117: Pax Romana and Crime Boss: Rockay City. Any Xbox account can try those through November 8.
- Want to keep it: buy during the event. Xbox Wire says you keep the Gamerscore and achievements you earned while it was free.
OnPoint’s take: This is a stacked Free Play Days weekend. PAYDAY 3 and Crime Boss cover the heist crowd, Anno 117 is a full free city-builder for every Xbox player with no membership wall, and Deceive Inc. at about two bucks is almost a freebie if the weekend hooks you. Age of Wonders 4 on the list is a gift for strategy fans who bounced off the buy-in. This is the Game Pass pitch in one sentence: try it free, keep your progress, buy it cheap if you love it.
