Your choices carry into The Wolf Among Us 2
Telltale and PM Studios have now confirmed it: the defining choices you make in the remaster carry forward into The Wolf Among Us 2.
One of Telltale’s best is back, it plays on Xbox tonight, and your choices finally matter for Season 2.
How it works:
- Sign in to your Telltale Account while you play The Wolf Among Us Remastered.
- Your defining choices get saved to that account.
- When The Wolf Among Us 2 arrives, those choices carry into the next season of Bigby’s story.
Don’t want to replay Season 1? You don’t have to. You can set your past choices at the start of The Wolf Among Us 2, no previous playthrough required. Telltale’s line on it: “However you lived it, The Wolf Among Us 2 will remember.” The Wolf Among Us 2 still has no release date.
The story, if you missed it in 2013
Based on DC’s Fables comics, you play Bigby Wolf, the Big Bad Wolf himself and Sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community of fairy-tale characters living in 1980s New York City. A grisly murder kicks off an investigation that turns into something way darker, and every choice changes who trusts you and who doesn’t.
What they’re saying
“Telltale helped pioneer a new era of interactive storytelling, and The Wolf Among Us remains one of the games that defined that legacy,” said Telltale CEO Jamie Ottilie. “This launch celebrates Telltale’s history, the incredible loyalty of our community, and our continued commitment to creating memorable experiences for generations to come.”
“We believe games of this caliber deserve to be experienced, celebrated, owned, collected and preserved for generations,” said PM Studios CEO Michael Yum. “Bringing The Wolf Among Us Remastered to physical release in Q1 2027 reflects our commitment and dedication to delivering something truly special for players to hold onto.”
Reviews are already in. The review embargo lifted October 28, and the game’s Metacritic page showed an 86 on Thursday afternoon.
The Wolf Among Us Remastered Is Out Now on Xbox: Price, Deleted Scenes, Noir Mode and Choices That Carry Into The Wolf Among Us 2OnPoint’s take: Here’s the part people are skipping past. There’s no native Series X|S build, and some folks are mad about that, but look at what it actually means: you buy it once on Xbox and it runs on your Series X, your Series S and your old Xbox One. That’s Xbox backward compatibility doing exactly what it’s always done, and it’s why your library on Xbox never gets left behind. Twenty-five bucks for one of the best stories Telltale ever told, with deleted scenes nobody’s played, a Noir Mode that fits this game perfectly, and choices that finally carry into Season 2? That’s a Halloween week pickup. If you skipped this in 2013, tonight’s your night. And Telltale, now that the save carry-over is locked in, give us a Wolf Among Us 2 date.
