Square Enix's award-winning remake lands Thursday, October 29, alongside Mouthwashing, Terrible Lizards and more. Here's everything joining Game Pass this week.
The last week of October is stacked for Game Pass members. The headliner is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, coming to Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 29 with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, per Xbox Wire. Xbox describes it as a retelling of the original story “up to the escape from Midgar with breathtaking visuals, fast-paced gameplay, and additional story elements,” with a battle system that mixes real-time action and command-based combat.

Here’s the full week, straight from Xbox Wire:
- Scramble Knights Online (Game Preview), October 26: day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. An MMO-lite action RPG you play with friends.
- The Séance of Blake Manor, October 27: Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. A supernatural detective mystery set in 1897 Ireland.
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, October 29: Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
- Mouthwashing, October 29: Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. The critically acclaimed psychological horror game, announced for Game Pass during the ID@Xbox showcase.
- Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, October 29: Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, through EA Play.
- Terrible Lizards, October 29: day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. A horror parkour game and the debut from WDR Studios.
- Pit of Goblin, November 3: Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Online co-op horror where you play as a goblin.
Heads up on what’s leaving. Xbox Wire lists nine games leaving October 31, including Deep Rock Galactic, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Grim Fandango Remastered and Wartales. If one of those is in your rotation, this is your last week to finish it.
A Final Fantasy VII Remake drop on Game Pass in Halloween week, with three horror games riding along with it, is a strong week by any measure. This is a full-price, big-budget RPG with some of the best visuals Square Enix has put out, and it’s just sitting in your library on Thursday. That’s the Game Pass pitch in one week. If you’ve got friends on the other side who never gave Xbox a real look, this is the week to tell them: join this side or just go ahead and subscribe to Game Pass.
