PlayStation’s Pulse Elevate wireless speakers are not launching on November 12.

On November 6, 2026, Sony Interactive Entertainment updated its PlayStation Blog post for the speakers. Sony says quality testing found a production issue, so it is delaying the launch that was set for November 12, 2026. Sony gave no new date. The update ends: “We look forward to bringing Pulse Elevate to players soon.”

What Sony said

The update, on the post bylined to Edwin Foo, Vice President, Product Development at SIE, reads:

> “As part of our ongoing quality testing of Pulse Elevate speakers, we have identified a production issue with the product and have made the decision to delay the launch. The additional time will allow us to ensure the product will deliver the experience we intended for our players.”

> “We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience and understanding. We look forward to bringing Pulse Elevate to players soon.”

Sony did not describe the issue, say what happens to existing pre-orders, or say how long the delay will last.

OnPoint’s take: Catching a production problem before shipping is the right call. But six days out, with pre-orders open since September 1, buyers deserve a clear word on what happens to their orders and when the next update comes. The product pitch was specific. The recovery plan should be too.
